Arusei  is an urban designer and regenerative landscape architect who believes that design has the power to influence positive, lasting change in people's quality of life. Grounded in the conviction that the urban landscape should be democratic, equitable and a true expression of the people. His sensibilities are shaped by a diverse range of international and local experiences. His core philosophy centres on enhancing urban livability through a focus on biodiversity, climate resilience, mobility and equitable access to opportunities.

Prior to joining SITELAB, Arusei worked across multiple scales, ranging from street design and mixed-use development to master planned communities, hospitality, and landscape design.  across East Africa. He holds a master of city and regional planning degree from the University of California Berkeley and a bachelor of landscape architecture degree from the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology university in Nairobi, Kenya.
