Downtowns are the iconic heart of our cities, the convergence of ideas, identities, experiences, and circulation networks. For decades, Downtowns have been organized around the office, leaving them vulnerable to the impacts of remote work. SITELAB is working at the forefront of this challenge, supporting local governments, place managers, and businesses to enrich and transform the offerings of Downtowns through an enhanced public realm, activation and programming, and a layered mix of uses.
