Guneet is continually inspired by cities around the world and how people inhabit them. In all her work, Guneet brings a lens of story-centered design, placekeeping, and belonging. Guneet leads multi-disciplinary collaborations, urban design, and research initiatives for a range of projects – from the 35-acre mixed-use waterfront development within a historic district at San Francisco’s Pier 70, to a layered ecological and social 128-acre framework plan for Google’s first proposed mixed-use neighborhood located at their headquarters in Mountain View, to the SF Port’s 7.5-mile Waterfront Resilience Program. 

Guneet received her Masters in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University and Bachelors in Architecture from Anna University. Guneet serves on the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission’s Design Review Board and lectures on urban design, resilience and adaptation, waterfront design, and leading with a people-first approach.
