Nadia is passionate about the relationship between the human experience and the design of public realm and built environment. Her work is driven by a people-first approach, tailored to specific social, cultural, and economic urban contexts, environmental responsibility, and flexibility to adapt to future growth.

Nadia has extensive local and international work experience at many scales, including urban mixed-use projects and campus master plans. Prior to joining SITELAB, Nadia was a Senior Urban Designer at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in San Francisco, where she worked on a variety of projects, such as UC Merced 2020, Genentech, and Shanghai Old Town master plans. She was also an Urban Designer and Architect at Risco SA in Lisbon, Portugal. Nadia is a licensed architect (Portugal) with a 5-year Architecture degree from the University of Lisbon.
