Stella is driven by the belief that good city planning and urban design harness the power to truly transform communities. She enjoys working at the nexus between careful research to understand and draw our stories about places, and creative pursuits to explore opportunities. She brings a wealth of knowledge to SITELAB, with experience spanning the Bay Area and New York City, as well as public and private sectors. From leading NYC’s privately owned public spaces program to guiding new visions for downtown streets and open spaces, Stella is always looking for opportunities to improve the public realm and enhance the human experience of cities. 

Stella possesses a Master of City Planning with an urban design emphasis from UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design, and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego.
